Privacy & the rules
Updated September 8, 2026. Control JA is Jean Alexandre’s participatory AI experiment. The consenting adult on screen is his AI double. Scenes are generated, may replay and are not a camera feed of the real JA.
Scene auctions
Each round lasts two minutes from the first bid’s checkout opening. The highest approved, successfully authorized bid received before the deadline wins. Equal bids are ranked by submission time. A late checkout is released. A scene starts at $2 USD for six seconds; ten seconds starts at $4 and a voice-over adds $1 to the minimum. The current minimum is shown before checkout. All amounts are USD.
Stripe places a temporary hold on your card. Losing or rejected bids are not charged, and their holds are released when the round closes. The winner is charged only after the generated scene is approved for delivery. Custom ideas and spoken lines must pass moderation before they can win. An unreviewed bid cannot win. A voice-over is a generated character voice, not a clone of JA’s voice, and is not guaranteed to be lip-synced.
Your winning scene is broadcast and made available in My scenes. A generated scene may vary from the prompt. If it fails or is not delivered within 12 hours of the bid, the authorization is cancelled or the payment is refunded. Your bank determines when released funds reappear. No audience size, reach, financial return or exact artistic result is promised. Generation is not instant. When no new winner is ready, the latest scene loops without generating another video.
Brand auctions
The desk, jacket and backdrop spots start at $50. The lower-left corner starts at $500. Each slot has its own 12-hour auction from the first checkout. Only the highest authorized bid whose logo and brand JA has approved can win. The winning card is charged when the spot activates during a live broadcast. Losing bids are released.
A placement consists of a clearly labeled sponsor graphic in the selected screen area for 24 hours of actual broadcast time. Offline time does not count. It is a graphic overlay, not a promise that a logo is physically woven into the generated jacket. Once occupied, that slot cannot be sold again until its airtime ends. If a winning spot cannot activate within 48 hours of the bid, its hold is released. JA can end and refund a placement from the control room.
Keep it playful
No sexual content, graphic violence, dangerous acts, harassment, private information, illegal activity, misleading health or financial claims, or impersonation of other real people. You must have rights to the assets and claims you submit. Automated moderation can decline custom ideas; brand assets require JA’s review. A rejected request is cancelled or refunded. For help or cancellation of an unplayed request, contact JA with the scene reference or Stripe receipt.
Your data
We store submitted ideas, bid amounts, timestamps, payment references and delivery status to operate the experiment. Stripe handles card details; this site does not store them. Approved ideas, amounts and sponsor graphics may appear publicly. Private email addresses, payment references and unpublished assets are not in the public feed.
A necessary first-party cookie retrieves your requests on this device. You can save the private link in My scenes to access one request from another device; anyone with that link can see its status. Do not share it publicly. Rate limiting uses a short-lived keyed identifier. This site does not implement advertising tracking. Selecting the Kick player loads Kick, which may use its own cookies.
Newsletter subscriptions require a separate consent checkbox. The address is used for JA’s AI content and experiment updates. Exported subscriber records include unsubscribe links for use in emails. Brand contact emails are used for that placement, and are not added to the newsletter.
Services & contact
The site uses Sites and Cloudflare for hosting and storage, Stripe for payments, Kie AI/MiniMax and Google’s speech model through Kie for generation, a local Claude text classifier for custom-prompt moderation, and Kick for broadcasting. Your submitted prompt and spoken line may be sent to the relevant model service. Do not submit confidential information.
Contact Jean Alexandre on X about a payment, cancellation or data request. Include your scene reference, never card details or API keys. Operational records are retained for running the experiment and applicable accounting obligations. You may request deletion of your subscription or unpublished content.
